I aim to help create space for you to learn, heal and grow through the use of hypnosis. Whether you are looking to experience a peaceful birth, manage pain, eliminate an existing habit, create a new one, overcome limitations that are holding you back from your full potential or work towards a specific goal, I am here to help and I look forward to working with you along the way.

My Story

Smoking Cessation

My hypnosis journey began with an intense desire to quit smoking cigarettes. I was a smoker for over 10 years and had tried many methods of quitting over the years with no success. A friend of mine quit smoking after booking a session with a NGH certified hypnotist - I was intrigued! I booked my own session and lo and behold hypnosis is what finally worked for me. No medications, no ‘white knuckling it’, no unwanted side effects - just an easy transition from smoker to non-smoker.

Becoming Certified

A few years after quitting cigarettes, my interest in hypnosis and the power of our subconscious mind surfaced again. I was really quite amazed at the fact that using hypnosis - a tool that we all access regularly without even realizing it - I was able to quit something that I previously had such a hard time eliminating from my life. The more I dug into hypnosis and the power of our subconscious minds in general, the more interested I became in learning how to use hypnosis to help others. In early 2021 I was certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists after a 13-week, 100+ hour course.

Peaceful Birthing

During the course of my hypnosis training I learned about the use of hypnosis as preparation for calm and peaceful birthing experiences. My husband and I were in the early stages of family planning, so I was curious. Up until then I always imagined birth to be a painful and sometimes horrendous rite-of-passage that all mothers had to endure. I quickly learned that the media had it all wrong - labor and birth didn’t have to be something to fear or dread. It could be something beautiful, something peaceful and more than tolerable. I prepared for the arrival of both my children using hypnosis as birthing preparation and experienced two calm, peaceful, unmedicated births. If I were to have more kids, I would prepare this way every single time. I loved my birthing experiences and so can you!
